Tim Vine
Tim is well known on the comedy circuit for having more punch lines per minute than any other comedian. At full pelt Tim sprays out 10 jokes a minute and he has just become a Guinness World Record Breaker for telling the most number of jokes in one hour.

The Sunday Times described him as “blissfully hilarious” and The Guardian enjoyed “an inspired medley of out-to-lunch one-liners”. He toured the UK with his own show ‘The Joke Machine Gun Tour’ which was hugely successful, and was shortly followed by the release of his debut DVD ‘Tim Vine Live’. Tim is also no stranger to television and has been seen on our screens in both series of ‘The Sketch Show’ (ITV1) - the first series won a BAFTA award for best comedy show, and more recently alongside Lee Mack in ‘Not Going Out’ (BBC). His other credits include ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘Jim Davidson Presents’ (both for BBC1), and Comic Relief’s Fame Academy (BBC1).

He has also been the host of “Fluke” (Channel 4 short listed for Montreux Golden Globe Award), ‘Whittle’ for Channel 5, ‘Housemates’ (BBC 1) and as well as his own show ‘The Tim Vine Christmas Present’ (Channel 5). Tim was also the first man to appear on Channel 5 co-hosting the first show they broadcast called ‘This is Five’ and guest host on ‘Not the Jack Docherty Show’ (Ch5). Tim has also appeared on ‘The Des O’Connor Show’ (ITV) ‘Saturday Live’ (LWT), ‘Talking Telephone Numbers’ (ITV), ‘The Stand-up Show’ (BBC), ‘Call my Bluff” (BBC), ‘Give us a Clue’ (BBC), and ‘Night Fever’ (Ch5).

At home in stand-up, Tim is a regular at The Edinburgh Festival and his sell out shows always receive rave reviews. Of his show ‘I’m Vine thanks!‘, Scotland on Sunday said “he’s magnificent and like no-one else in Edinburgh”. Tim received critical acclaim for his performances at the Montreal ‘Just for Laughs’ comedy festival and also won the ‘Best Newcomer’ Perrier Award in 1995.

Tim has entertained many blue chip companies with his uniquely silly comic style, and is always in demand for after-dinner caberet and awards presentation.
